Madona Museum, one of the oldest museums in Vidzeme, in 2009. celebrated its 65th anniversary( founded in 1944. 20 of the year. 1824) . 2003. at the end of the year, the storage was moved to new premises at Skolas Street 12. They were opened by the country's president Vaira Vīke-Freiberga. The museum is located in the historic center of Madona - the former Birzi manor - in the barn of the exhibition hall, storage - in the place of the Mill. For 2010. year 1st. in January, the museum has 123,391 items in its collection.
